From our very first interview with InterGen it was apparent they were looking for a very specific design aesthetic to create an atmosphere that would align with their professional standard and support their people and community.
We are excited to share with you our recently completed Show Suite at 255 George Street, Sydney.
The initial brief was to create an environment that was not only open and inviting but also distinguished itself from other speculative projects in the Sydney CBD market. Our client sought an environment that potential tenants could perceive as more than just a workplace but a space that inspires creativity and instils a sense of community.
IA’s Brisbane team were engaged by the Queensland Department of Education to design a refurbishment of their existing 980 square metre conference centre. Delivered concurrently with a brand-new Audio-Visual rollout, the brief included creating an over-arching concept and sense of meaning for the space while creating distinct personalities for the six different conference, meeting room, workshop and lab facilities.
Upon entry, the inviting and unique reception and lift lobby offers the first glimpse of the wayfinding and graphic elements featured throughout the space. We had the privilege of working with DoE’s Marketing and First Nations teams to intertwine their newly created ‘Landscape of Learning’ branding into the design to ensure they worked in harmony to tell the same stories.

Inspired by the spirit of innovation, IA aimed to push the limits of office interiors, creating a futuristic and high-tech aesthetic at 80 Flinders Street, Adelaide for Lucid Consulting’s new workplace fitout.
Relocating into Mirvac’s newly refurbished Olderfleet at 477 Collins Street gave MolinoCahill the opportunity to develop their new workplace. One which provides both their teams and clients a sophisticated environment. The bespoke design draws the occupant through the space with its soft curves and delicate contrasting elements.
Mirvac engaged IA Design to drive the design solution for a three-stage activation project commencing with Fern. The newly completed, three-level shared workspace provides Mirvac with a sophisticated, managed workspace which will provide a ‘value-add’ to their existing tenants and attract new clients and visitors to the precinct.
IA has recently completed ‘Parramatta Place’ the home for Private Health Insurer, HCF in Parramatta, New South Wales.
Spread across two floors, HCF’s new fit-out caters for up to 380 staff and was designed to create a dynamic team environment that ignites communication, collaboration, coaching, and wellness.

IA Design were engaged by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) to conduct a functional briefing and subsequent design for its new Adelaide workplace.
The IA Design team were appointed to facilitate the design, documentation and construction management of the new chambers at the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (FCCA).

The College of Law is the largest provider of practice-focused legal education in Australasia, offering innovative, practical education and training for legal professionals.
Central Park levels 44 & 45 are the new consolidated Perth headquarters of the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). Comprising of two floors with a bold interconnecting staircase this 1,700m² office space has been designed to suit the demands of a 24-hour Control Room as well as meet the needs of a dynamic and highly connected workforce.
As part of the restructuring of TAFE, a new corporate office was required to be located in Building A of Ultimo Campus. The refurbishment, over 3 floors of the heritage listed building, provides open office space, meetings rooms, a new boardroom and collaboration/ break out spaces, required for the operation of TAFE corporate headquarters.
IA Design were engaged by Murdoch University to design two new areas within the Geoffrey Bolton Library.
The brief for the first of the rooms, a 24/7 Learning Commons was to revitalise the space and provide a energetic and motivating study zone which consolidates, expands and improves the student learning experience as a priority, along with functional requirements commensurate with the library and various stakeholder requirements.
ECU engaged IA Design to make major modifications to the B13 building – Broadcast Radio Facility Studio. IA Design was tasked with reconfiguring the floor plan in line with a draft schematic plan presented by ECU. The facility required varying levels of acoustic treatment, as well as demolition works and a new built environment.
IA Design were engaged to contribute towards the staged delivery of a full building upgrade of 55 St Georges Terrace. The core objective of the upgrade was to attract new tenants and keep existing.
IA Design were engaged to create a new end-of-trip (EOT) facility for an existing office tower in the centre of the Sydney CBD. The tight space restrictions within the existing basement called for an innovative solution to house the state-of-the-art EOT facility.
1 King William Street is an iconic building on the corner of King William and North Terrace, Adelaide overlooking Parliament House. Following an ongoing relationship with real estate advisers, Anvil Capital, the IA Design team were appointed as lead designers for a series of base building redevelopments for the building.
The Barrington’s new end-of-trip (EOT) facility is a fully integrated zone that offers tenants an array of amenities including bike racks, lockers, showers and change rooms.
IA Design were engaged by CBRE PjM for building owners Credit Suisse to create an end-of-trip facility in the renowned Perth building, 190 St Georges Terrace. The new addition has given the building a new edge, with a lively colour palette to engage commuters.
IA Design were engaged to design and refurbish of the ground and mezzanine floors of the BGC Centre, located in Perth’s CBD. The BGC Centre offers 15 levels of office space, a mezzanine level, 3 basement levels of parking and an open plaza area.
IA Design were engaged by CBRE PjM to create two vibrant end-of-trip facilities to welcome early morning commuters and bike riders at the Durack Centre & 2 Victoria Ave.
Following the completion of the end-of-trip facility at 190 St Georges Terrace, IA Design were engaged by CBRE GWS to redesign the lobby entrance to capture the identity of the building and improve leasing potential.
The IA Design team designed a multi-functional head office for GPC Asia Pacific, successfully housing the office and warehouse staff of two GPC brands (Repco and Ashdown Ingram).
Following a management decision to centralise the Ausgrid underground, overhead, substation and cross-docking operations, the IA Design team designed and developed a multi-functional site to house all departments in Ausgrid’s existing Potts Hills location.
IA Design were appointed by global mining technology firm, Imdex, to develop a new site for the relocation and co-location of their office, warehouse and laboratory spaces.

The new medical clinic for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging & Intervention (ADII) is a state-of-the-art facility offering a welcoming, open, friendly and professional environment for patients and staff. IA Design were engaged to design and deliver the new clinic, working closely with ADII to design a safe working environment for employees and an appropriate space to interact with patients.
