IA Design were engaged to complete a new workplace for sustainable gold mining corporation, Gold Fields, in the Perth CBD. Moving from two separate addresses on Colin Street, West Perth, the Gold Fields team were amalgamated into one connected workforce across levels 3, 4 and 5 at 235 St Georges Terrace.

Key drivers for the Gold Fields team included fostering greater collaboration between teams, increasing the visibility and approachability of leadership, maintaining a focus on sustainability, and creating more opportunity for social and casual interactions between staff.

The new fit out includes ample meeting rooms, focus rooms, social zones, and considerately delineated open meeting spaces to maximise opportunities for the Gold Fields teams to come together and collaborate as one.

The use of Gold Fields visually rich graphics and imagery on custom designed glazing film throughout the interior help to reinforce the strong connections to both their mining operations and their brand identity.

The result is an interior that reflects a people-centric business where values of modernisation and sustainability are at the forefront.
