The new medical clinic for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging & Intervention (ADII) is a state-of-the-art facility offering a welcoming, open, friendly and professional environment for patients and staff. IA Design were engaged to design and deliver the new clinic, working closely with ADII to design a safe working environment for employees and an appropriate space to interact with patients.

To ensure the clinic workflow accommodated the daily needs of doctors, ancillary staff and patients, space planning played a key role in the design process. Considerations included the creation of essential shared spaces between imaging rooms, the positioning of patient-facing facilities to maximise natural light as well as privacy, and the measured location of central facilities including the sterilization room, laundry, bathroom facilities, utilities and storage.

The clinic has been designed to adapt to new technologies and working styles, providing ADII with a flexible environment for future change. The final space is a strong solution that meets brief and exceeds expectations.
