Bis Industries’ brief was to “create a corporate office reflecting the Bis executive team” – a workplace that staff and clients would be proud of.

With the objective of increasing tenancy, IA Design worked with Credit Suisse to design a flexible, functional and engaging workspace that promoted the tenancy of 45 St Georges Terrace.

WREN – LEGAL AID

WREN – LEGAL AID

IA Design was engaged by Legal Aid to design their new office for Wren (Women’s Resource & Engagement Network). IA worked alongside Project Managers Acorpp and Builders Aurora to complete this stand out build. All consultants worked together to achieve the project within a tight programme and budget.

BAE Systems Australia – Adelaide

Following our appointment as their National Workplace Strategy Designers, IA Design were directly appointed by BAE Systems Australia to work closely with them to create their new workplace fitout in the Adelaide CBD. The design includes a new fitout across three levels that provides flexibility for BAE’s frequently growing team and the diverse requirements of each department.

Gold Fields

IA Design were engaged to complete a new workplace for sustainable gold mining corporation, Gold Fields, in the Perth CBD. Moving from two separate addresses on Colin Street, West Perth, the Gold Fields team were amalgamated into one connected workforce across levels 3, 4 and 5 at 235 St Georges Terrace.

In partnership with JDV Group, IA was engaged to design the existing office for PPS Mutual.

With a successful cross-country collaboration, the IA team have delivered a bright and warm speculative suite in Melbourne’s CBD for client HThree.
Element

Element

The key drivers of the Element project included ‘de-siloing’ the separate business units whilst still appreciating the needs of each business unit. The client desired a new workplace that would reflect the way that they wanted to work which was a change to collaborative and inclusive workplace strategies. Prior to project commencement Element underwent a re-branding exercise. IA Design had to ensure that they worked closely with the re-branding team to ensure that this was captured and integrated within the new fit out.
Microsoft Melbourne

Split across three levels in the Freshwater Towers, this 3,000m2 Southbank, Melbourne fit-out for Microsoft was driven by an aspiration to enhance the customer experience. Considering both visitors and internal staff, a key driver of bolstering the user experience through integration of technology to solidify Microsoft’s strong global digital presence. A modern, interactive client-facing hub with flexible spaces was the primary design & spatial driver.
Crocmedia South Melbourne

As a part of IA Design working on Crocmedia’s national portfolio of workspaces & media suites, we were engaged to design their new show space in Southbank. The tenancy was to include a mix of front of house amenities, production & editing suites and workspace.

Wrays

After the successful delivery of Wrays head office in Perth, the IA Melbourne studio was engaged to design and deliver the Wrays Melbourne office. The design aesthetic was to associate with the completed head office in Perth whilst incorporating an essence and feel that is unique to Melbourne. IA Design worked collaboratively between our Perth and Melbourne studios to ensure that the final design represented Wrays intended workplace environment. Wrays, a law firm specialising in intellectual property required a combination of private offices and open plan working spaces. The breakout was created to encourage social collaboration in a comfortable relaxed setting
Crocmedia Marvel Stadium Cafe

Crocmedia Marvel Stadium – Corporate Suite

IA Design & Crocmedia have partnered to deliver a national portfolio of workspaces & media suites across Australia. As part of this portfolio we were engaged to design their joint corporate suite at Marvel Stadium (formerly known as Etihad Stadium). The complete re-fit included transforming two separate suites into one larger space.

THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Following the relocation of the Department of the Attorney General (DotAG) into the new Old Treasury Building, IA Design were engaged as the Lead Consultant to design a sophisticated and welcoming environment for the new Perth office.

AUSTRALIAN TRADE COMMISSION

The IA Design team were engaged by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) to design a contemporary, open plan work environment for their existing Melbourne office.

WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION

The Western Australia Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) in Perth undertook a complete refurbishment in 2016 in an effort to upgrade the Court Rooms and Hearing Rooms, and provide employees and public visitors with a welcoming space to work and communicate.

AAT SYDNEY

In collaboration with Built., the IA Design team designed and constructed the Administrative Appeals Tribunals (AAT) in Sydney. A brand new 9,000m2 space across 9 floors, that houses four tribunals, and consists of both public spaces and working environments.

AUSTRALIAN ELECTORAL COMMISSION (AEC)

IA Design worked with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) to design the new state office in Tasmania, featuring a showpiece breakout area for staff to enjoy.

THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF AUSTRALIA

The IA Design team created an intimate and collaborative research suite for the now retired Chief Justice of Australia, The Hon RS French AC. The new space was designed to accommodate the ongoing duties of the retired Chief Justice, housing collaborative breakout areas, research headquarters and an impressive library of historical books and documents.

ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS TRIBUNAL, PERTH

IA Design was engaged as a result of the amalgamation in 2015, of the Amalgamated Appeals Tribunal (AAT), the Migration Review Tribunal and the Refugee Review Tribunal (MRT-RRT), and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal (SSAT), into a single tribunal. The key drivers for this project were that this new AAT would be recognized as an accessible, expert and innovative organization that delivered administrative justice for individuals and organizations, and improved the quality of government decision-making.

Department of Employment

IA Design were tasked to deliver an intelligent design that captured a sense of community and pride. The design was to be comfortable and inspiring for staff, with a strong focus on a collaborative and flexible environment.

Public Service Commission

The IA Design team were engaged by Colliers International Project Management on behalf of the Public Service Commission (PSC) to design their new workplace fit out. IA Design were tasked with understanding the many departments and sectors of the PSC to effectively transition from a multi-floor space into one integrated floor to reflect a cohesive organization. This process included IA Design undertaking one on one meetings with each department, a vision workshop and blocking and stacking planning.

259 Queen Street End-Of-Trip

Investa Property Group engaged IA Design to design and document a new end of trip facility (EoT) at their 295 Queen Street, Brisbane asset.
Westralia Square Perth

Westralia Square

IA Design was engaged by GDI Property Group (GDI) to design and deliver a lobby and bathroom upgrade to level 7 Westralia Square. IA Design have worked alongside GDI to deliver projects in numerous buildings including 197 St Georges Terrace and 5 Mill Street.

GEORGE STREET END-OF-TRIP

The End of Trip Facility at 363 George St was designed by IA Design for ISPT Super Property. The EOT Facility occupies 3 basement levels in an existing office tower which is having a major lift foyer refurbishment, still under construction.

SPICERS POTTS POINT RETREAT

Spicers Retreats pride themselves in providing boutique experiences at their hotel retreats and with this project, Spicers set out to create a ‘flagship’ hotel experience in Sydney. IA Design were engaged to work closely with the Spicers project team, led by Coop Creative, and construction partner Built to develop options for the selected Potts Point Properties.

WESTRALIA SQUARE LOBBY

IA Design was engaged to deliver the Westralia Square lobby at 141 St Georges Terrace, after previously delivering a floor upgrade to level 7. The Brief was to reposition the building to target a corporate tenant whilst moving away from the Government stigma attached to the building from long term government tenants. It also involved clearly announcing that the building was under new ownership.
