Eagle House – Ground Floor Lobby & Courtyard

As building owners look towards innovative ways to attract tenants more are embarking on major asset revitalisation projects to elevate their offerings. IA Design were engaged as the Principal Design Firm to deliver the Eagle House 13-storey refurbishment which saw the building converted into a B grade asset providing the building owner greater opportunity for securing prospective tenants.

Eagle House – End of Trip

Forming a major component of the Eagle House base building activation project was the basement & end of trip facilities. Prior to commencing the project, the basement was an underutilised car park and bin storage space.

oOh! Media

IA Design have been engaged by FDC to provide the new workplace for oOh! media in both Melbourne and Sydney. The design honours the coming together and connection of all staff within the new building. The concept provides a coming of age for ooh! with a dynamic, striking backdrop to frame their digital product display and signify the dynamic, diverse locality of Melbourne.

Robert Walters

There is always something memorable about every workplace project. What made Robert Walters a special project for IA Design was the strong client bond established through challenging lockdowns by way of trust, understanding and humour. Our journey with Robert Walters started with their property search attending multiple site inspections and test fitting spatial options based on the functional brief. IA Design developed the brief following in-depth briefing sessions ensuring the new space accounted for current and future growth. We workshopped various configurations providing reassurance the final leasing decision was right for their future workplace.

ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS TRIBUNAL, PERTH

IA Design was engaged as a result of the amalgamation in 2015, of the Amalgamated Appeals Tribunal (AAT), the Migration Review Tribunal and the Refugee Review Tribunal (MRT-RRT), and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal (SSAT), into a single tribunal. The key drivers for this project were that this new AAT would be recognized as an accessible, expert and innovative organization that delivered administrative justice for individuals and organizations, and improved the quality of government decision-making.
AUSTRALIAN ENERGY MARKET OPERATOR - Workplace interior Design

AUSTRALIAN ENERGY MARKET OPERATOR

Central Park levels 44 & 45 are the new consolidated Perth headquarters of the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). Comprising of two floors with a bold interconnecting staircase this 1,700m² office space has been designed to suit the demands of a 24-hour Control Room as well as meet the needs of a dynamic and highly connected workforce.

Department of Employment

IA Design were tasked to deliver an intelligent design that captured a sense of community and pride. The design was to be comfortable and inspiring for staff, with a strong focus on a collaborative and flexible environment.

Public Service Commission

The IA Design team were engaged by Colliers International Project Management on behalf of the Public Service Commission (PSC) to design their new workplace fit out. IA Design were tasked with understanding the many departments and sectors of the PSC to effectively transition from a multi-floor space into one integrated floor to reflect a cohesive organization. This process included IA Design undertaking one on one meetings with each department, a vision workshop and blocking and stacking planning.

INSPECTOR-GENERAL OF TAXATION

The IA Design team were engaged by the Inspector General of Taxation (IGT) to create a workplace that promoted staff engagement and provided employees with a calming oasis to balance the high-pressure nature of everyday work. A core focus of the project was to create an environment that would be enjoyable for staff, reduce stress and spark communication. To bring this vision to life, the IA interior design team worked with the IGT staff to determine the conceptual design direction of the overall space – Narnia: an escape to an enjoyable and calm oasis.
Mastercard – Sydney

Mastercard – Sydney

The journey towards Mastercard’s transformed St Leonards facility starts from the street with the movement of light within the awning drawing visitors & staff to the entrance. Light pierces through the perforated awning mimicking the motion of the person below. This sensory experience combined with the bespoke ‘global sounds’ of Mastercard, build a sense of anticipation towards the public entry zone of this revamped tech-hub.
Shell Australia

SHELL

IA Design were engaged by the leading natural gas producer, Shell Australia, to design the national headquarters as a part of a new global branding initiative. This dynamic work environment is the first of its kind in the world, exhibiting leading edge technologies and infrastructure.
PepsiCo

PEPSICO

The IA Design team worked closely with PepsiCo to bring their agile work philosophy to life in a brand new three-story space in Sydney.
Microsoft Australia

Microsoft

IA Design was engaged by Aurora for the upgrade of Microsoft’s existing and ‘dated’ head office in Perth. Key drivers of the project were to create a contemporary and sophisticated space that represented Microsoft and provided a great first impression for clients, staff and visitors, all while providing a space that could accommodate their frequent influx for large meetings.
Riff fit out

Riff

IA Design was engaged to deliver the new Riff fit out (previously known as Spacecubed). Riff was designed to be a flexible and engaging workspace that encouraged people to connect with the space and one another. Riff went through a re-branding exercise at the commencement of the project and the IA Design team were required to incorporate this shift of branding into the design as it was progressed.
DMAW Lawyers Office

DMAW Lawyers

IA were appointed by DMAW Lawyers to conduct a feasibility review of their short-listed property options to assist their decision in selecting the most suitable accommodation. This early engagement allowed IA Design to assess their function brief against each building offering, to surmise the best value for money.
CBRE New Head Office

CBRE

Located high within the iconic QV1 building designed by Harry Seidler, CBRE’s new home provided IA Design with an amazing backdrop for the design of their new head office with magnificent views of the Swan River and Indian Ocean.
RENASCENT PERTH

IA Design were engaged by one of Australia’s leading fit-out, refurbishment and construction firms, Renascent, to design and construct a new fit-out for the Perth office. A contemporary industrial office environment that communicates the Renascent brand identity.

Parmelia House at 118 St Georges Terrace is home to “Flux”, an exciting co-working space where businesses can work, collaborate and network in an innovative and flexible environment.

AUSTRALIAN ELECTORAL COMMISSION

As part of the Australian Electoral Commission’s portfolio, IA Design have been engaged to design and deliver their Heatherton office fitout. Following a national guideline that was developed by IA Design, Heatherton has been designed to fall in-line with other newly completed offices, also taking into consideration additional requirements due to site constraints as well as the needs of the operating staff.

Department of Social Services

The Department of Social Services were moving into a new premise in Hobart that required a full refit of a complete floor. The new space was to incorporate both workspace, collaborative zones, meeting spaces, breakout and large conference rooms. The design incorporated colours and textures referenced from the Tasmanian landscape which created a fresh and vibrant colour palette. Custom graphics were used on glass partitions which helped to create a specialised identity for the space that was unique to the Department of Social Services.
